my story

i became a doula to help others. this work is part of my spiritual practice, a way of continuing my ancestors’ journey and reestablishing important traditions. women once provided each other with comfort, encouragement, and guidance. we held hands, stroked brows, and wiped tears. we stood together and shared a bond. i want to serve my sisters of today by reminding them that they are never alone, and that we are stronger together.

my goal: To come from a place of calm every day

my purpose: To serve others, establish trust, and provide understanding and comfort
